      I wonder if this is the result of having so much 30 year old code still embedded in Windows 10. Make a small change and unintended results can occur. I hope Microsoft is coding an entirely new OS that is mostly compatible with newer software that has great security and updated very quickly, that can replace Windows sometime in the future. If not, the alternatives will slowly eat at the Windows user base as more apps move to the web. A Chromebook with Android apps, or a flavor of Linux, would be the more stable and safer way to go if Windows doesn’t become a truly secure, stable, and modern OS. After 30 years users are tired of seeing what worked before break after updating. It needs to just work, and stay that way. Yeah, OS code is complex. So, do it right.
