On 5/9/17 (Patch Tuesday), I updated Malicious Software Removal Tool (MSRT) KB890830 for Windows 7 as requested and, according to my update history, the “important” update was successful.
Today I received the same notification to update this again.
Do I uninstall the 5/9/17 update and reinstall the item I received today, 5/23/17?
I’m somewhat technically-challenged and not sure what to do.
Would appreciate any feedback regarding this issue.

A new version of KB890830 MSRT was released yesterday. It is supposedly able to remove the WannaCry malware. You should go ahead and install it.

Thanks, PKCano.  I installed it as you suggested.
