Windows 7 64-bit Group B here. I missed the deadline so I won’t run Windows Update, but does that also apply to the security-only patches that we manually install? It seems I would have to install the March patch(es, with hotfix) before the April patch anyway, so can I still install them now or should I just wait until DEFCON goes back up again?

Go ahead and install the security-only patch and the IE update. Links are here
When you have finished, reboot and login. Wait 10 minutes.

The DEFCON number applies to April’s patches. It doesn’t mean you can’t install March’s patches that are OK. So, Go to Windows Update and search for updates.

DO NOT check anything that is not already checked.
UNCHECK the March Security Monthly Quality ROLLUP for Win7.
        UNCHECK any driver updates.
You can hide KB2952664 and/or KB3150513 if they are in the list.
UNCHECK any patches that have an April date (if you highlight the update, the date is on the right). If you have Office 2013 or 2016 these will be April patches.
Go ahead and install everything else that is already checked.
