• This month’s cumulative update for Win10 version 1809, KB 4464330, throwing bluescreens

    There’s a great sleuthing report on Windows Latest, by akshay Waghray (!), that collects complaints from HP workstation and PC customers.

    The complaints say that build 17763.55 triggers bluescreens on specific HP computers, with affected users pointing the finger at an HP file called HpqKbFiltr.sys.

    Have you seen anything?

    UPDATE: Looks like there’s a different cause – in spite of a Microsoft Agent’s comment. Post coming in Computerworld.
