• Microsoft should take advantage of the Win10 1803 delay and….

    … and cancel it altogether.

Here are the feature improvements being touted for 1803:

Timeline – a way to go back to your desktop at an earlier point in time. Except it only works with Office and Edge, and a few other apps that you probably don’t use. I’d much rather collapse and expand groups of Chrome tabs.

Cortana is better, but I bet you won’t even notice. Assuming you use Cortana at all.

Near share – for all those times you’re too intimidated to walk over to the person you want to share with.

Fonts in the Store. Oh wow. How 1990s.

Along with the usual UI improvements and more settings moved from Control Panel — and a dozen other things you probably don’t care about. And, yes, I know it’s the most secure version of Windows ever…

I have a novel idea, Microsoft. Why not wait until there are a few new features worth the hassle of upgrading? If it takes another year, hey, I don’t mind.

And while you’re at it, make “Disable Web Search” work again.
