    Calls for Microsoft to stop the madness and put some quality back into Windows have hit a fevered pace. The latest is an impassioned essay from Andrew Orlowski at The Register:

    Windows isn’t working – and Microsoft urgently needs to change how it develops the platform, and jettison three filthy practices it has acquired in recent years.

    In 2014 Microsoft decided it could do a better job if it discarded a lot of software testers… Testers were soooo 20th century.

    His description of Win10 users — you ‘n me — is spot-on. And his three filthy practices strike to the heart of what ails Windows.
