Harman Kardon Invoke review from Barb Bowman
If you’re tempted by the Harman Kardon Invoke system — the Cortana-based home assistant, in the same genre as Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Home — check out Barb Bowman’s review on the digitalmediaphile.com site.
The hardware is terrific both in aesthetics and sound quality (I’d expect no less of HK) and I think the product is (currently) great for very small apartments and particularly good for folks tied into Microsoft’s ecosystem of Cortana and Skype and Office/Outlook.
I don’t think the Invoke is going anywhere any time soon, but if you’re knee-deep in Cortana and Outlook, it’s certainly worth a look. If the rumored link-up between Alexa and Invoke happens, it may be worth re-assessing.
