• A question about Win7 Logfile compression

    Just got this from VL:

    You did a Win 7 Logfile Compression Bug article which I found & used because my on my Win7 64 Professional Asus computer the C drive was almost completely full. In the article you said to move the files under CBS (they said ‘Persist’ on them mostly) & I tried doing that – I copied them to the D drive then deleted them from the C drive & the Recycle Bin and it freed up about 22 GB so thank you. Now I still had the Windows Modules installer d& it says it may not be able to update Windows that way – so should I put it on Manual Or Automatic again? And I could not find the ‘Cab’ files you had said to delete for good measure.

    I’m amazed that this article is so popular, even now, a year after it was published. Anybody care to enlighten me on changes?
