• Reminder: We’re still on MS-DEFCON 2, no reason to install any patches

    Looks like a lot of people are getting stampeded again this month.

    To repeat: We’re at MS-DEFCON 2. There are absolutely NO patches released this month that are worth installing. As long as you don’t use Internet Explorer or Edge (and there’s a bug in the latest security patch for IE), there’s not one single reason for installing the current round of patches.

    Of course, you should avoid Flash and Acrobat Reader, but that’s the usual background advice.

    Wait for the dust to settle, folks.
