• On the USA “losing control” of the internet

    A timely question from JC. I rarely discuss politics, but this, at its heart, is a technical question, not a political one. Please forgive me for the epithet, which I rarely use as well, but it’s most appropriate here:

    What’s your take on the USA losing control of the internet, and how do you think this is going to affect USA if it goes through?

    I think it’s 100% bullshit.

    ICANN is an international organization, always has been.
