• Odd dependency on Monthly Rollups reported

    Very interesting email from LT. Can anyone confirm?

    I am Group C but I am still on “Check but let me choose….” just to see how things work going forward. My machine auto checks every morning and the check is done very quickly thanks to 2605.

    However, I have noticed that since I have not installed the October, 2016 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3185330) I have not been offered the November, 2016 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3197868) via Windows Update.

    Is that going to be standard procedure, until one installs the October Rollup, the November Rollup will not be offered, etc.?

    Keep in mind, I am in Group C so I am not installing Rollups, but I thought I would be “collecting” Rollups in the Windows Update queue and that doesn’t appear to be the case.

    (I did and will continue to install .NET Security Only from the catalogue)

    Thanks for any thoughts.
