• Windows 10 beta build 14361 was just released

I’m installing it right now, but be aware of the fact that some people are having trouble getting the build to show up in Windows Update.

Usual method: Start, Settings, Update & security, Check for updates.

Supposedly LastPass now works with Edge. We’ll see. Enormous list of fixes, very few improvements (except new bling for the Settings app and a new CD icon, whoa nelly).

We have to be awfully close to release candidate…

Minor update: MS has announced there will be a new Bug Bash. See the end of the official build announcement, if you’re in to that kind of thing.

I’m in. Edge has a splash screen with announcements. The only important one is that LastPass is now available. Those of you who followed my tweets know that I had trouble with LastPass in build 14352.

LastPass setup… The site you’re on is trying to close this (login) tab. Do you want to close this tab?

Logged in to LastPass and I’m getting a weird ms-browser-extension tab. Starting LastPass again.

LastPass appears as a pane on the right. There’s an eight-step “welcome” sequence. New Sharing Center. VERY slow response.

Took LastPass through its paces. Looking good – none of the problems I had before. New features are intriguing.

Testing continues, but the build’s looking good. I’ll have an update in InfoWorld in the morning.

Just hit a problem. Can’t get the LastPass fill in Edge to work on scottrade.com…. Half an hour later, it’s working correctly…

There are reports on Twitter (and from PK Cano) that making changes in the Privacy applet crashes Win10. Details in the morning.
