• Did Early March Win 7 Updates Mess Up Install Dates under Programs and Features?

    An interesting observation – possibly irreproducible – from PO:

    Saw something bizarre tonight on my desktop PC.  Under “Programs and Features”, several installed programs are showing they were installed on 3/3/2016.  No, they weren’t.  Got to thinking perhaps some Windows Update or Updates caused the issue.  Well, think I might be on to something; several of those updates show up as being installed…on 3/3/2016.  I’m thinking the major culprit PERHAPS could be the .NET Framework updates for 4.5.1, but…could be any of the updates, or simply mere coincidence.  Computer is acting normally, with no malware infections, so, there ya go.  See the screenshots below to see what I’m talking about (one shows .NET updates, another Windows Updates, and another regular programs…all showing 3/3/2016).

    Could be something with my machine, but somehow, I don’t think so.
